In times of conflict and protracted crisis, the lives of families’ shatter and become unstable. People lose their jobs and livelihoods, access is restricted, and the humanitarian situation becomes extremely severe. Living conditions reach an intolerable level, and people suffer from healthcare and food shortages, especially in hard to reach and besieged areas where access is limited and often time completely restricted. In this regard, Jafra Foundation plays a crucial role in taking responsibility to ease access for services and humanitarian aid, as it continues to build on its expertise since 2011 in negotiation and advocacy for the most underprivileged; securing their rights to obtain the most basic human needs while maintaining impartiality in the process. With this longstanding experience, Jafra became a key community stakeholder in facilitating humanitarian access and negotiation, representing the voice of the most underprivileged people in the camps.
